Matthias Wirth

Matthias Wirth graduated with a diploma in bioinformatics from the Goethe University of Frankfurt/Germany in 2007. He wrote his diploma thesis in the group of Prof. G. Schneider on “Interpretation of input variables in neural feed-forward networks”. After a one-year-project with Merck Serono in Geneva on molecular shape descriptors, he joined the Molecular Modelling Group in 2009, where he is now working on his PhD in cheminformatics in collaboration with Merck Serono.
